Revo's LMS (Light Management
System) lenses use an exclusive system that "manages"
light. Thanks to a special coating composed of multiple layers
of titanium and silicon oxides. A Revo LMS lens acts as a
veritable equalizer of light: it eliminates 100% of harmful
ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are responsible for burning and
irritation of the eyes, and can be a possible cause of conditions
such as conjunctivitis and cataracts. It blocks up to 97%
of infrared (IR) rays, which cause eye reddening and dryness.
It then processes violey/blue light by filtering out harmful
rays while passing the part of teh spectrum that is necessary
for distinguishing the colors. Color focusing is improved
and vision is sharper and brighter.
Above is a comparison between
"standard" sun lenses and REVO sun lenses. REVO
lenses work like a light equalizer, they determin how much
light reaches eyes in relation to their sensitivity.
Coating:
Coating on REVO LMS lenses is compsed of extremely thin layers
of titanium and silicon oxides which are applied and calibrated
with great precision. The coating eliminates up to 97% of
infrared rays. it also processes rays in the blue spectrum
to enhance colo focusing. Vision is hsarp and bright and the
increased contrast between colors maximized definition.
Glass
Lens: Built with pure optical glass, this type of
lens will not lose its shape and remains scratch resistan
so tis protective and visual properties remain constant over
time. special processing techniques minimize thickness and
make the lens exceptionally light.
Polarizing
Filter: Consisting of an ultra-thin film of dichroic
crystals sandwiched between two glass lenses, a polarizing
filter eliminates the glare that is caused when sunlight hits
shiny, reflective surfaces such as water, snow, sunlit streets,
sand, etc. colors are not affected by the altered strength
of the light, and the eye is more relaxed and functions more
efficiently.
The Revo Polarized
Lens: Glare Free Technology

When sunlight
hits reflective surfaces such as sand, snow or water, some
of the light is polarized and very strong reflections are
generated that dazzle and irritate the eyes, which may cause
reddening and disturbed vision. Polarized lenses are required
for total protection against reflection. REVO polarizing lenses
have a special venetion blind filter that allows light to
pass, while completely blocking out polarized reflections
without reducing visual brightness, so total comfort is assured.
As a result, REVO polarized lenses are perfect for people
who ski or engage in water-based activities such as fishing,
kayaking or boating.
REVO Glasses with
a polarizing filter are identified by the symbol H2O on the
left lens or by the word POLARIZED (styles featuring polycarbonate
lenses).

Polycarbonate Lens: 100% Performance
The REVO collection has expanded by introducing new models
that are exceptionally sturdy, thanks to their special polycarbonate
lenses. Besides featuring exreme lightness and strength, this
material offers excellent distortion-free vision. 100% protection
against harmful UV rays, and superior resistance to impact.
What's more, a special treatment provides resistance against
scratches.
The Special
Anti-Reflective Coating
Discomfort in the eyes can be caused when light hits the eye
from behind and from the side, and reflects inside the lens
in your glasses. Some REVO lenses have a special anti-reflective,
multi-layered coating on the inside that absorbs reflection
and eliminates this unpleasant problem.
The REVO
Photochromatic Lens: Active Protection
A REVO polarized photochromatic lens provides perfect vision
under any lighting conditions. Thanks to a special photosensitive
filter, the lens gets darker when it is hit by sunlight or
under very bright conditions. It returns to its original state
when it enters a shady or enclosed area. REVO polarized photochromatic
lenses are great for people who spend a lot of time outdoors
in activities such as trekking adn golf, and when driving
or performing everyday activities.
